I tried almost all available models and rental shops in Prague. Either the tent was too expensive, too big, or simply not made to measure. After weeks of Googling and searching, I came to the conclusion that there simply wasn't a tent in the EU that I wanted to buy. That's how the idea of ​​creating my own rooftop tent came about. I started looking further and found a manufacturer in China. Despite prejudices about products from China and after a series of test prototypes, thorough tuning of materials and construction, together we managed to create a tent that is high-quality, compact, well-thought-out and affordable - exactly what I had dreamed of.

Currently, the tent is still being manufactured in China – Elevate is still a small startup and literally a one-man show run by me 🙂 I am talking openly about the origin of the product because I believe that Elevate has something to offer and that its idea will appeal to many of you. And who knows, maybe I will manage to localize the production soon. 🤞

My goal is to make traveling with a roof tent accessible to anyone with a regular car and a desire for freedom, simplicity, and adventure.
